In this blog post I want to talk about the basics of growing a coaching business.
I know it can sometimes feel overwhelming when you think about all the things you need to do.
But building a coaching business comes down to these 3 main categories...
- 1Attract people who have the potential to be your ideal clients
- 2Turn those potential ideal clients into actual clients
- 3Deliver value to your clients
On the surface, it's really that simple.
If you're not at the place of having all the clients you want, then every activity you do in your business should focus on one of these areas.
Let's go a bit deeper into each...
Attract people who have the potential to be your ideal clients
In order for you to attract people who have the potential to be your ideal clients, you need to know who your ideal clients are and where they hang out.
You then have to do things that help you stand out so that they pay attention to who you are and what you have to say.
Turn those potential ideal clients into actual clients
In order to turn your potential ideal clients into actual clients, you need to understand them deeply — their pain, hopes, dreams, goals, etc.
And you need your messages to them—content marketing, social media, speeches, etc., etc.— to convey that not only do you get them, but you can help them.
Deliver value to your clients
In order to deliver value to your clients and help them get to the other side of the transformation they want, you need to know how. You need to have a solid and flexible process you take your clients through. One you have confidence in.
Obviously, there's a bit more to each area, but as you work on your business, check-in to see if what you're working on fits in one of these areas.
If it doesn't, you may want to rethink it.
And if you want to save time and money with the entire process, I invite you to learn more about The 1-1 Coaches Accelerator.
I designed it to save coaches both time and money. So they know exactly what they should be working on to build their businesses. And they don't waste time doing the things that won't move them forward.
With love & joy,
