Mindset + Motivation + Methods

I started a book, Limitless by Jim Kwik the other night. In it, he teaches people how to learn.

I've just started reading it so I can't tell you if it's any good, or not. But I'm guessing it is.

He starts out talking about a model he uses to help people learn faster and better.

And I just loved this model because not only can it be used to help people learn, it can pretty much be used for coaching and other areas of life.

Basically, he's saying that in order for people to reach their learning goals, they need three things.

  • the right mindset
  • motivation
  • proven methods to follow

And, to me, that pretty much sums up the best coaching.

  • We help our clients get in the right mindset to help them change their identity
  • We do our best to keep the motivation high so they keep moving towards the results
  • We use our own proprietary methodology to get them there.

And what's really cool is that the model applies to pretty much any goal.
