Have you ever worked towards something just to see if you could do it?
It can be something small-ish... like learning a new hobby, learning a musical instrument, or doing a 30-day writing challenge 🙂
Or it can be something big, like building a house, saving for a big purchase, going on a big trip.
Or, of course, building a business.
I realized recently that I've done this my whole life.
I didn't realize it at the time, but I earned my Ph.D. just to see if I was smart enough.
(It's not about smarts, btw. It's really just one huge lesson in perseverance)
I didn't have a big major dream of becoming a psychologist.
I just love human beings and I love to understand what makes us all tick.
And while I love helping coaches build their businesses so they can help others, a large part of wanting to get to six figures was to see if I could do it.
Could I build a business that supports me comfortably so that I never have to work for someone else again?
(Because working for others hasn't gone so well 😉
My next goal is to build my business to seven figures.
And, of course, the idea of helping thousands of coaches build their businesses so they can help millions of people thrills me.
But part of me just wants to see if I can do it.
Can I build a 7 figure business?
Do the things I need to do?
Learn the things I need to learn?
Do I have it in me?
So, I invite you to look at your own goals.
Are any of them on the list just to see if you can do it?
With love & joy,
P.S. Is there someone in your life who could benefit from reading this post? Why not share this with them?
