In the past couple of days, I've been talking about the 6 website mistakes I see coaches make when first getting started...
- 1They fuss over the domain name.
- 2They futz with it for way too long.
- 3Their website is all about them.
- 4They stress over the logo.
- 5They stress about their "brand."
- 6They have an "If I build it, they will come" kind of attitude.
They stress over the logo.
Today, we're going to talk about stressing over your logo.
I've seen a lot of coaches spend A LOT of time trying to get their logo just right.
I'm going to say something to you right now that may sound a little controversial.
Here goes...
YOU DON'T NEED A FANCY LOGO.
There. I said it.
Do you believe me?
No?
Ok. Let me prove it...

If you look at the major players in the online space, you'll notice that none of them have fancy logos.
It's usually their name. Sometimes they have a fancy font. Sometimes not.
These are all people who focused on the important things — building their businesses, bringing in clients and customers, and learning the skills they needed to become the top in their areas.
As someone who has done both — at first stressing over things like creating a logo and then finally getting down to business — I can tell you that getting down to business and focusing on what's most important is what got me to six figures.
And I promise, it's what's going to get you there, too.
With love & joy,
