What is a signature offer?

Simply put, your signature offer is the vehicle through which you deliver your coaching framework.

It can be as basic as a set number or schedule of coaching sessions.

Or as advanced as coaching, resources, extra support, and bonuses. Let me give you some examples…

Six months of one-to-one coaching

This is the simplest and easiest to implement.

The exact length of your program will vary depending on your coaching framework. But essentially, you take your client through your coaching framework within that set time frame and help them achieve their desired transformation.

Six months of one-to-one coaching, plus learning materials

The next evolution of your signature offer is to take the repetitive parts of your coaching and turn them into reusable materials.

So rather than rehashing the same information over and over, your coaching clients get the core information delivered via learning materials, and then you personalize their coaching around their specific needs.

Six months of group coaching, plus learning materials

Once you’ve taken enough one-to-one clients through your coaching framework, you’ll gain confidence and certainty that your coaching framework delivers results.

That means you may be ready to scale up your coaching to include groups.

There are several ways you could set the group up.

You could…

Take them through your coaching framework as a group with each week focused on one section.


You could set it up so that each member goes at their own pace and each live coaching session is about any questions they have about the step they’re on.

Either way, the point is that you’re freeing up your time to focus on what matters most to your clients (i.e. the transformation you’re helping them make).

How a Signature Offer Changes Your Business

First, you sell the program and not yourself.

After working with hundreds of coaches, I can tell you that most coaches DO NOT love selling themselves. It’s so uncomfortable.

It’s much, much easier to focus the enrollment conversation around your signature offer and what it can do for them.

Second, when you give it a name it becomes its own thing.

You can make it a separate brand with its own website and sales page. And when you give it a strong name and set up the right systems, it can do most of the selling for you and bring in potential clients on autopilot.

Plus, it has the potential to scale like nothing else.

As I’m sure you’ve seen around the internet, coaches and other experts have created signature offers that make them millions per year.

That’s practically impossible without a signature offer.

Now I know you might be thinking…

“I’m not ready for that yet. I have to do this other thing first. Maybe I’ll be ready next year.”

But I want to warn you against the “maybe next year” mindset.

Because while it’s true that if you haven’t already, you want to dial in your niche and develop your coaching framework first…
