This came up a couple of times this week, so I thought I'd share my thoughts.
I see a lot of coaches who haven't been able to get their business up and running because they're spending time on it pretty sporadically.
They wait for when they have time instead of saying, "Hey, this is really important to me. I'm going to make this a high priority."
Now, it's one thing to say something is a high priority. And it's another to actually make it a high priority.
I have a quick tip for you to make your biz a priority on a daily basis.
And that's to spend time on your biz first thing in the morning.
And it doesn't matter how much time you spend. Whether it's a couple of hours or 5 minutes.
By doing SOMETHING on your biz every morning you're telling yourself and the universe that this is important.
This is one of the things that really started turning things around for me.
During the first couple of years I was contracting with the coaching organization, I put that biz first in my day. I thought I'd be able to work on my biz in the evenings.
That didn't happen.
By the time I finished my work with them, I was exhausted. And the only thing on my mind was dinner, a glass of wine, and whatever TV show I was binge watching at the time.
Two years in I realized my biz was going nowhere. And things had to change.
And so I decided to put my biz first in my day.
I started working on my biz for an hour every morning before starting to work for them.
And that made all the difference.
Something shifted.
Not only was I actually making progress in my biz, but the shift happened in my mind.
Every day, I was putting my goals and dreams before everything else.
That. Is. Powerful.
It doesn't matter if you are single and have no job and can work on your biz all day, every day
Or you have a full-time job and 10 kids at home.
Work on your biz first, even if it's for just 5 minutes.
And pretty soon, you'll start seeing momentum.
With love & joy,
P.S. Is there someone in your life who could benefit from reading this post? Why not share this with them?
